I am a Henderson and Haywood County native, I was raised in the beautiful mountains of WNC. My family was active in the Tennessee Walking Horse business. As a child, my brother and I were lucky enough to run the halls of our family barn and visit arenas all over the south for horse shows. We had a very active family, I was involved in competitive dance for 12 years as an athlete and many years as a teacher/choreographer. My love for sports stems from season after season of following my brother around to numerous ballfieds and gymnasiums all over.
Exploration of WNC as an adult has been one of my most beautiful journeys, aside from creating a family. My husband and I have a spunky teenager, Ava, who will soon be flying the nest and finding her way through college. As a family, we enjoy traveling, all things outdoors, great food, sports, and Summertime. We have a four year old Chocolate Lab, Penny, who couldn’t be less of a dog and more of a human.
As empty nesters, my husband and I hope to travel and explore. The mountains will always call us home and hold the pride of our Appalachian hearts.
