Ron’s track record in horse farms, estate properties and luxury homes has earned him the honor of becoming a multi-million dollar producer. His passion for adventure, however, has opened up many avenues of exploration. For example, prior to relocating to North Carolina, Ron owned Bottom Time Adventures, a marine travel business that specialized in expeditions from America’s coast. His clients enjoyed swimming with humpback whales and wild spotted dolphins from The Bottom Time II, his high-tech and high-speed power Catamaran. Ron has been a licensed ocean operator of passenger vessels and a licensed airline pilot for more than 30 years.
Ron’s clients praise his responsiveness, in-depth knowledge of the area and concise follow through. Following his interest in preserving the local equestrian trail systems, Ron has served on the Board of Directors for the Foothills Equestrian Trail Association (FETA). He personally owns a 50-acre equestrian property, Turkey Run Farm, in the Tryon area. When not with his real estate clients, Ron is working with his competition horses and caring for senior, rescued Greyhounds. He is also the proud owner of a pair of Jack Russells and a few old hounds.
Ron is an active participant in local area equestrian activities, including events hosted at FENCE and Western Carolina Pace Series. He is a staff member for Green Creek Hounds and a member in standing with Tryon Hounds, participating in the Master Fox Hounds Association Centennial Meet in Southern Pines as well as many hunts in Florida, Kentucky and Michigan. As a 15-year veteran on the amateur jumping circuit, he is a seasoned equestrian, who has won numerous awards from Florida, the Carolinas, Ohio to New York.
